The other thing is the politicians on the right, and the left are still clueless, and don't realize Obama hit a home run with his speech aimed right at the middle! The middle class, the middle of the road , the middle majority of all Americans. You see it's this way! Take care of the middle, and get them back onto solid economic footing, and they we say: What the hell life is good. Take care of your left liberal agenda, or your right wing agenda! There's enough prosperity to go around, but what the politicians fail to realize is that middle class, the middle of the roads problems have to be addressed first, or you get an election revolt!
Another thing, if you don't think the supreme courts
ruling on election funding is going to hurt anything? The whole economic
climate, and the situation the middle class is in now was started when the
US supreme court ruled about 15 years ago that banks and their credit card
companies, and their fees don't fall under state usury laws anymore!
As they did and where limited by since 1934, and the penalty that used to be
25 dollars or 25 percent of the yearly interest rate as allowed by state
usury law as a standard penalty for a monthly late payment or which ever is
less! On the balance of a $500 bucks that's about a $10.45 penalty for a
late payment for every thirty days late! Not hours, or days late, which
would be 35 cents a day. Companies whose card service division head
quarters where not in a state they where doing business in are doing
intrastate trade ( trade across state lines laws are regulated by congress
only). They are not regulated by the states laws that they are doing
business in. Those state usury laws can't be applied. The companies are free
to charge whatever interest they feel like, as long as it isn't over their
own states usury laws to those issued in their own state. Assuming that
their home state has usury laws. So every credit card company relocated
located the head quarters for their card issuing services to Utah ,or North
Dakota, or Delaware, or some other state with high usury laws limits, or no
usury laws ( or just didn't issue cards in their home sates). Thus the
additional burden on the middle class we have today is the US Supreme courts
fault!
So the writing is on the wall for this ruling also! US subsidiaries of
foreign companies, and governments will circumvent election law prohibitions
legally!
Now lets get to the 9-11 trails that NYC doesn't want in them. Since one of the targets of 9-11 was the Pentagon, it makes these people prisoners of war, and there's no need to try them in a military or civilian court until all hostilities have stopped! Which may never happen! So lock them up in Illinois until that day that will never come! When it comes, try them in both a military court for the pentagon, and then a civilian court for the World Trade center, and if their sentenced to death before the civilian trial? Why bother with the civilian trial?
1-28-2010.I forget what the exact numbers are, and this is why I warn about Cops who work a full shift, or overtime on duty, and then go and work a day job for extra money, or work for multiple department and a day job on the same day. ( Every department should have rules on this stuff)! What is it? A tried driver is 20 times-30 times more likely to get into an accident than a drunk driver is. Now check out this fool of a truck driver! Thomas Wallace 9/26/64 of Ohio drives 27 hrs total time with only 4 hrs of sleep in all that time ( and probably only 4 hrs of sleep before that), he keeps fictitious log books to cover those facts, but in his demented sleep state he figures that some porn streaming from the internet on his lap top ( which is sitting on his lap and not fixed to the dash of his vehicle) while tooling down the NYS Thruway at 65-70mph on a congested portion of I-90 near Pembroke is the way to keep from falling asleep. Then there's this poor woman 33-year-old Julie Stratton, a wife and mother of 1 infant, and a toddler who strikes a deer on the thruway (where you would least expect a deer). Her car is sitting in traffic, and car after car and truck after truck manage to pass her without incident, until this fool watching porn on his lap top while driving slams into the back end of her car killing her and leaves her husband and 2 children without a wife ,and mother a week before Christmas! Its sickening! (Story wivb.com) People if your car is disabled in the road exit the vehicle ( put flares down if you have them) as safe as you can, and walk up the center median or side median roadway towards traffic coming at you until you have at least 100 yards separation from the disabled vehicle and sit in the center median or side median until help arrives ( keep a low profile as not to distract traffic). This is assuming that you are not hurt and pinned in the vehicle! (Story Cont. ...)

And on another matter I believe to be a direct action acted on by the Federal Government as response to my story of my near death on the PA highway and my stories about truck driver culpability morally if not legally threw their deliberate indifference to smaller vehicles on the road, including possibly trooper Mattice ( we may never no all circumstances of her tragic death). My story I quiet frankly almost certainly would not have shared with anyone because I didn't have the video, but shared it with you because I heard of the tragic death of Trooper Mattice. So while Trooper Matices life was not in vain, as the lives of all that serve their fellow man in service, lives aren't, I personally in my opinion believe her tragic death was not in vain, and directly resulted in the USDOT banning Text messaging in commercial Trucks and buses over 5 tons total weight driving the nations highways on the day of her memorial and funeral service. Notice in the story the USDOT states that a truck driver texting for the average text time of 6 sec. at 65MPH will travel 100 yards distracted from the road ( about the same distance I laid out in my story that I had to react and save my life 300 yards divide by 2 because of cars converging head on equals 150 yards, is 9 seconds total!) so if I was texting at that moment, I might be dead today! I am always amazed at drivers who don't hold their cell phones or position their cell phones and GPS's in front of their windshield or mount them in front of their windshield head up so they can see the road in front of them while doing any of these distraction's, but instead have the device on their laps or seat where they have to take their eyes off the road! I don't text, but while using the phones GPS this is what I do, and if I have to enter info into it. I type 2 letters at a time then stop entering, but with my eyes both on device and road in front of me at all times, but I refocus attention off the device and completely on road in front of me after 2 letters, (about 1 second) and certainly not while following a car if closer than 9 seconds! That's triple the 3 second rule, but if people are texting for 6 seconds straight even with obeying the 3 second rule for safe distance, their short 3 seconds on a safe stop!

ts great news, because now we can stop pussy footing around. We can now launch attacks on any Muslim Holidays while their busy praying to Allah, we can take them out and send them to Allah. It they aren't going to respect our religious holidays and attack us on Christian and Jewish Holiday observances, or respect our churches ( like they haven't really done that in the past anyways, they like to build Mosques on old Christian church sites, and destroy Buddhist temples and other religious artifacts) why should we respect their beliefs? I say we respect their beliefs, and not attack them on religious Muslim holidays because we now have some more Leverage on Bin Laden that shows he a tyrant and terrorist and not a freedom fighter to other Muslims. In fact he's a disparate man! The USA's official line should be: He's failing at what he's doing and he desperately wants credit for every terrorist act committed, even if he had nothing to directly do with the act itself. (Story Yahoo News)So either he was involved and sanctioned a Christmas day attack ( and we can use that against him) or he's not involved and he is desperate for the attention because Muslims are turning away from him. Either way he is showing his weak hand and now is time for the US to step up the pressure in Afghanistan and to solidify relations with Pakistan and other Arab Countries like Yemen. It's also time to jump into the Israeli Palestinian peace process to take that card away from him now. He's franticly trying to redirect his focus to that matter, and all we need to defuse that is for president Obama to come out in support a Palestinian self rule or a Palestinian state in existence with Israel! ( A couple comments during the state of the Union Address would be a good time, almost as an after thought tied into world economic recovery and USA Security)!
By the way all the Republican Victory in Mass. means is the liberals and leftist in the most liberal and leftist sate in the Union wanted to take the time to screw with Obama's head and joined forces with the center and cause a ruckus, but really, is that a path they will continue down in further elections? I think not, because Ironically Obama has sided with the center, the middle to try to get things done also in congress.
So in fact they have done the same exact thing they are protesting Obama doing, because the left has completely lost power to do anything without the help of the center, so pandering to them is useless, unless it's something the center also wants! ( Both are disgusted with Wall Street right now, but the right, and center are also disgusted with big government which Obama seems to be for, so if he doesn't retool his message from more government programs to more government accountability and regulation of itself and the private sector, including wall street, then he may lose the next election!)
About 55 miles out from my home on Route 219 in PA on 1-19-2009., I was faced with a situation that would have been most peoples demise. While coming down a hill at about 65-70 mph in a no passing zone I spotted about 300 yards in front of me an oncoming car in my lane closing on me while trying to over take a truck. At about 200 yards away it was apparent the car was not going to pass the truck without hitting me head on, and at 100 yards it was apparent neither was slowing down. I look to the right shoulder, and it was about 4 ft wide with snow banks( Ice banks) protruding into the shoulder. At this point even if I slammed on the brakes we would have head on crashed (Or the loss of control from doing that would have added to the problem). So at about 100 ft away from a head on crash at 70mph I swerve right onto the four foot shoulder with 2 ft of my F150 still on the road way, and I pass the car coming head on in my lane and the traitor trailer besides it, and swerved back off the shoulder completely back into my lane
Alive! My only thought was dam I wish I had that on Video, people will soil their pants just watching it. ( I know stupid first thought, but wasn't really fazed by the incident because my life has always been full of this kind of close call life and death stuff for some reason!)
I usually video while driving, but after getting lost at night using this new route lately making that trip, I've been using the
amAze free GPS program on my phone, and if I use it while videoing, the phone over heats and shuts down! So I've opted to save getting lost, and not video while on this route in PA, because it's only shorter than route 15 or the PA Turnpike if you don't get lost in the hills for hours at night as has happened to me in the recent past! Nothing worst than driving threw a herd of 40-50 deer lost on a winning mountain road like last trip! Don't ask me how I didn't hit any deer. I don't know, just like I don't know how I survived this!Then my next thought was anyone else would be dead now ( what's God got planned for me next?), and then I'm going to tell my Ma she's not allowed to go from MD and WNY this way anymore, and neither is my sister and her kids. At least when they do, they should get off route 99, take 80 to the NYS thruway. The extra shortness of 100 miles is not worth their lives and stay off of RT 219 and head on traffic, after route 99 to RT 80! (Then I remember no female in my family takes my advice anyways, but I'll tell them anyways, and its off my hands and hopefully they don't find out the hard way like they always do when ignoring my advice!)
Then I immediately started to dissect the event and realized that I was only alive because first: I was a man, instead of braking and swerving at the same time, and the loss of control that would have resulted in, I only swerved! I swerved right like you are suppose too! I also realized that the driver of the on coming car blindly kept accelerating, and didn't swerve right into the truck or worsted yet left into the shoulder with me in it. About the only one I could fault is the Semi-truck driver.
He should have decelerated or slammed on his brakes and let the car swerved right into lane in front of him, and pass before a head on situation developed , or he should have moved right towards the shoulder, but he didn't! In fact he probably willfully contributed to the situation. You see in my experience driving the roads at night with trucks there are always those wise ass truckers that rig a spotlight to shine in your face while approaching him from behind if you don't dim your highs fast enough! There's always that trucker that won't yield the right of way to passing vehicles overtaking them on 2 lane roads, or ride the left lane going up hill on a highway, or moves towards the outside yellow line when cars come from the other direction on a 2 lane road. Guys that like to screw with people in cars!
So when you hear a heart breaking story like this:
Trooper Mattice is the first female Trooper in the New York State Police to die in the line of duty, and you wonder how does kind of tragedy happen without any culpability on the part of the trucker?The short answer is 99% of the time it don't, and even if this trucker did nothing criminally wrong, and this Trooper some how wandered over the double yellow line, me, personally in my opinion, I would venture to believe that the truck driver probably could have preformed some evasive maneuvers, but instead just kept his line knowing that he had the weight and was safe in his truck.
The most likely theory of a cause of this tragedy in my opinion (without knowing all the facts) recalling on all my experiences with truckers on the road is: The truck most likely crossed the double line at a curve while the trooper was approaching on coming at 100 yards away. The trooper being a woman slammed on her brakes and tried to steer right towards the shoulder and out of the way at the same time, but the patrol car veered out of control left (
an object in motion tends to stay in motion in the same direction it is moving, and if entering a left hand curve would tend to go left and braking at the same time would overwhelm the front wheels contact patches) into the path of the truck causing it to look like she was the person at fault when in all reality the truck crossed the double line and swerved back into his lane where it collided with the female troopers car approaching it that had lost control responding evasively to the trucks incursion into her lane! This probably happened because the female trooper was braking, and swerving at the same time ( unlike a man who would just swerve right) in response to the truck crossing the double yellow line in front of her. Like I've said before, it's great to see the US armed forces including the Navy doing life affirming Good deeds, and Good works by springing right into action on orders from the president, and heading down to Haiti for relief efforts.
The good work they do is also good training, and hands on experience, as a tool for what its like to fight urban warfare, with helicopters, and security concerns! Its about as realistic as you can get to the experience, but you get to save people instead of fighting, and killing people when its a necessary job.
Also I like to point out Haiti and its government are full of corruption and when I was watching TV in DC area I saw that the Haitian embassy was having a food, and care package drive, and I cringed ( myself in my opinion believing none of that aid would get to the victims, and will end up in the governments hands or government employees hands), and there are also reports of 1000's of bogus relief sites on the internet.

Just got back from close to 20 days of being in Maryland running from either my Sisters house in MD/VA/DC area to my other sisters kid's first purchase of a home (with the help of 8k back from the federal government) of a row house in Baltimore's Camden Area where I helped with some minor DIY renovations.
I'm really impressed with Baltimore since the last time I really spent any real time in that City was in the early 1990's when it was a completely drug infested city in urban decay except for the Inner harbor Area which still was much to be developed and had a 5 story bar in the biggest building! The old power plant ( spent plenty of time their and at hammer Jacks) which still was in disrepair and needed to be renovated. Then a Black man with a dream of holding city employees including police accountable for their actions got into office as Mayor and with the help of some computer software, the same system Buffalo mayor Byron brown is implementing in Buffalo. They managed to change 90% of Baltimore from urban decay to vibrant welcoming neighborhoods where hundred year old buildings look as good or better than the day they where built! People now actually wanted to stay and or move back into that city.
Another corner stone of Baltimore is that almost every intersection has police surveillance dome cameras mounted above the center traffic light, and they also have the ability to regulate traffic flow and traffic lights, and their presents has lead to illegal activity moving in doors or out of site in most areas or simply stopping. But it's really not safe to walk at night in any neighborhood areas especially the fringe areas, and there are an inordinate amount of pan handlers at all major intersections, and really it's hard for me to have any compassion for any of them when they are all wearing clothes newer than mine, and even the blanket rapped around their body for show, because they are dressed warm enough with new boots and jackets had to cost at least 300 bucks, and most of these are professionals making a thousand bucks a day pan handling! Hell they don't even pull the cell phone from their ear while begging for money!
