The BBC is reporting that 1/3 of the mortgages that have defaulted in the USA are in California.

It was bad enough when the Chinese put melamine in the Dog food exported to the USA, now it turns out that they have been putting it in infant formula and milk sold in China and exported to the USA! Over 12,000 Chinese children are hospitalized with kidney and other problems from drinking melamine tainted milk.

As long as the government doesn't Pay bond holders and Stock holders. Most of the signature loans went to Mexicans and south Americans and other foreigners who where buying housing stock in LA and Miami and other areas were the housing stock was is horrendous condition and these flippers would buy the houses on a signature loan no credit check, then sell to Mexicans, half of them illegal on a signature loan. Most of those people defaulted, but some Mexicans and foreigners got rich that way while the average hard working lower middle class person was denied these opportunities and got stuck hold variable rate loans. The good thing is this scheming has up dated, up graded, improved the housing stock and inner city and urban housing stock such as what used to be called South Central LA. and other inner city areas across the country..

The reason it doesn't matter if these places go under and the stock holders and mainly the bond holders don't get paid as long as the USA government still guarantees the loans and lets people refinance there home loans at a fixed rate is:

So unlike US treasury bonds which the government guarantees and needs to keep stable so when we run a deficit we can still borrow money we have no vested interest in paying bond holders who what they have in fact done is contribute to the infrastructure of this country and improved our housing stock and the US tax payer didn't have to spend a dime. Not paying them off would force the price of oil down per barrel, because the only reason its inflated is the increased demand from China and price rigging from Opec, so if we don't save the investors they would learn the lesson of don't tamper with oil prices and oil production and we are not going to foot the bill for your increase oil consumption and prosperity on the backs of USA tax payers.

In the same light it's a good thing that the US government is refusing to bail out Lehman Brothers, in fact foreign stock markets are already plunging since I wrote the above paragraph and the price of oil dropped to $93 a barrel overnight and the biggest investor in Lehman Brothers are probably China and Opec nations, so they get to reap what they sowed by rigging the world oil prices.

What is going to happen all around is the price of the US dollar is going to increase, the price of oil is going to plummet, and we have a greatly improved housing stock and all the people in other counties that made there money in US dollars then converted to other dominations betting for a continuing falling dollar are going to have their wealth devalued, but our real estate, infrastructure, and manufacturing and job base will still be here even if unemployment goes up for the short term and people are forced to take jobs that the illegal's are doing right now!

Now AIG is a different story. They insure bonds against failure and AIG's failure would mean that the Wall street would be questionable as to being the hub of the worlds financial markets, because they have guaranteed bonds in almost every country in the world, but it would be a better if the USA got private companies and banks to bail them out and guarantee the loans to them. Which is essentially what they did by getting the FED to bail them out at a high interest rate.

Opec to cut production by 500,00 barrels a day. Why? This is bull shit! Opec was saying that free market prices should be $68-70 a barrel and it was speculators driving the price up. So why wouldn't they wait until the price was at $68-70 a barrel before they cut production. I say jdam the Kaaba in Mecca, dam liars they want to black mail the world with oil lets black mail them with a jdam aimed at the Kaaba in Saudi Arabian Holy city Mecca!

A cop that admits he's been married 4 times, can't control his anger and drinking and that he went out and shot a Mousse while on duty for no good reason( probably to let of stream). The interview with him was on TV people! Multiple people have reported him as drinking beer on duty in his patrol car, and he tasered his son when his son asked to be tasered and admitted it to doing that. He also threatened to kill the governors father and other family members according to the governor ( most people are killed by people know to them that own guns, usually irate family members). This guy has no business being a cop, especially a state trooper and anyone who defends this guy is a idiot, but now the state legislator wants to investigate the governor for trying to get him fired( This tells you how corrupt they are)!

Excuse me but the power of a legislative branch of government to subpoena is not a power granted to them directly under the constitution of the USA. You will notice when the executive branch wants a subpoena they go threw the courts to get it!

The power of subpoena of legislative branches is one conferred on themselves and started with Joe McCarthy hunting commies or the Teapot dome scandal( most likely because the democrats' didn't hold executive branch positions or court positions and wanted to interfere in those most republican domains' at the time), and while they have inferred that power on themselves to get information from citizens of their states or the USA. The right to issue subpoena against the executive branches including the president, governors and there unofficial emissaries, including their first ladies, first men, husband and wives, and all family members is not there and a violation of the US constitutions separation of branch's of government!

If they want subpoena they should go threw the courts system like the everyone else has too! Hell there is nothing in the constitution that prevents congress from making a court that exclusively handles legislative subpoena's and rules on the legality of what is requested by them! But they would be a part of the judicial branch and not answer to congress and they wouldn't like that!

All this just tells me she's someone I want in office like John McCain is some one I want as the next president and Sara Palin the next Vice President. She is the chief executive in the state where she is governor and has the right to fire anyone she wants in the executive branch including troopers if she has any concerns at all! Especially a violent belligerent cop who has a problem with his temper and dealing with woman and has been violent in the past to his 4 x-wives.

It would be disturbing if she didn't try to get this guy out of his job, in a direct way or round about way which she or her family did try to do, maybe including her husband. All this says to me is even the governor had a problem when it came to the thin blue line, the blue wall, and if she was having problems with it. It's out of control in Alaska.

These guys should have been saying yes mame, yes sir, to her husband! This guys (cops) a problem, but can we get him off the force and still take in his years of service? But if all his years of service had been like that I would have expected the governor to say are you kidding me?

I don't want this guy living in this state let alone getting dime from this state.

Me personally writing this site. I would have let him get disability under the condition he can not own firearms and can't ever come back to work and had to move 1000 miles from the governors home the state capital and Alaska.

But I understand hell have no fury as a woman scorned and watch who you are an a whole to in your life even if you think you don't answer to anybody as a cop because that person might just become governor some day, worst for you president of the USA even if they are a woman.

If I were Sara Palin I would just say: The guy abused his authority! Jeopardized my family and the health and liberty of all the people of Alaska including his fellow troopers and every action I or a family member took was justified! I would have been negligent and a accessory before the fact if this guy went out and murdered somebody! It could have been a family member this guy shot, if not an innocent citizen of our state and being a cop he might get away with it! I couldn't live with that and still can't!

So excuse me if I don't shed a tear for this man that abused the publics trust and still can't seem to control himself! Excuse me if I don't blink! I'm not going to blink when we get Osama Bin Laden! I'm not going to blink when we are forced to help our allies like the Ukraine and Georgia, and I'm not going to blink when it comes to defending our nations self interest and I will defend my country with the same vigor that I defend my family against this bad cop and my state against corruption and big oil! Just wait, when me and John McCain get into office if the price of gas don't drop to under 2 bucks, we are really going to go after big oil. I'm no Gorge W Bush! Neither is John McCain!

He saw them as evil and corrupt and he probably resented most, that black men where going to jail for dealing crack cocaine in greater numbers than white people dealing acid!( Even though when you deal or share acid and are busted they add the weight of the paper into the equation as if it where part of the drug . So if you sell one hit of acid on construction paper to your best friend you can go to jail for 25-life first time! Crack cocaine it takes a bunch of rocks! So some white teen passing a hit of acid to a friend that is witnessed by a cop is treated like a dealer in Baltimore standing out on the street selling crack 24/7. How come the African Americans get off so easy with mandatory sentencing?)

That was the whole agenda of Obama's community activation his defining moment of his life, but all he could accomplish in his 3 years as a paid community activist is getting a summer jobs program for inner city youths to relocate its office so kids didn't have to take the bus to apply for the work! Then he managed to get some TV time for a meeting on asbestos removal in government subsidized apartments during a meeting that his hand picked advocate, a black woman wouldn't give up the microphone to the agency representative and a shoving and pulling match soon broke out between them and general disarray resulted in a mob action.

Did I mention that when Obama was interviewing and going on mini missions for his job of paid community activist with Alinsky, his future boss and author of Rules for Radicals.

He was told by a pastor of a Baptist church, pastor love: "You can't get churches and ministers on board if you don't go to church". Obama a Muslim at the time said quite coldly and calculating: "I know! I understand! I’m working on it! I believe, I’m just waiting for the right spot! The right place! The right time!”

Then it appears that the only minister and church that he could agree on the message was the church where the minister was calling for the destruction of America. The church of Jeremiah Wright, were Obama joined the Trinity United Church of Christ on 95th Street in Chicago( Did he actually convert, go to conversion classes, is my question? Or is he still an un-converted Muslim going to church for his own selfish reasons?)

After 3 years in community activism Obama was frustrated that he couldn't get anything done and he yearned for power and glory!

Because like Sara Palin said we working class people don't want to vote for a person that praises us one day and the next day calls the people of PA and essentially every Christian hard working person stupid for clinging to there religious beliefs and Guns and small town America values. What instead of his black militant friends values? Militant Black pastors values or Muslim up bringing values? Or is it his suckling on the teat of big government making millions, off the misery of the inner city poor by being a community organizer that makes him think this way? To me this sounds like Obama is more of the same, living off the teat of big government, self important, trying to become president of the USA for his own selfish self interest! Actually their is a place reserved in hell for those that make there money off the misery of others. I mean how the hell do you make 5 million a years being a community activist? Obama wants to replace jobs you lost in the global economy with guaranteed protected jobs that aren't going to be competitive in the global economy( supported by taxes I guess). I want to open foreign markets to our products and services and train workers to compete in the global economy by subsidizing them when they are forced to take lower priced jobs until they get training and higher paying globally competitive jobs! We can't put support in systems that were designed to provide assistance in the 1950's USA economy and are no longer viable in the 22 century!

I invite you to work for a cause greater than yourselves , your country. Get involved with government, run for office, if you cant do that, vote in elections, help the disabled, volunteer your time, because there is no greater calling than to work for a cause greater than yourself!

My God. I'm watching the RNC and yesterday the speaker knocked it out of the Park( actor Fred Thomson). Then today I listened to former Mayor of NYC Rudy Julianne knock one out of the park. But , this future vice president Sara Palin is a better orator than both of them.

She even out delivered the professional speech writer and community activist Democratic opponent Obama and solidified her position as not just the next vice president of the USA, but probably the first female president of the USA! Either elected next time up or succeeding John McCain if something happens to him in his term in office. Look out Hillary a strong woman can have a family and not have to put up with infidelity to become the first woman president of the USA!

NY Governor Paterson Vetoed a Bill making The Buffalo and Erie county control boards soft, this guys a smart guy in my book, and he even showed a little tack with his explanation( a lot more than Spitzer would have), that the predicted upcoming economic times in store for the USA necessitate the continuing oversight in an economically depressed WNY.

John McCain would be wise to tap this Guy (NY Governor Paterson) for Vice President right away!

The John McCain campaign is coming under unreasonable attack from the media for attacking Obama's ticket to ride( his popularity). Obama has no substance to his campaign, he has no compelling history, and if Tiger woods wasn't such a mixed race phenomenon and close look alike to Obama, Obama wouldn't even be considered for president. Along with the appeasement of terrorist Islamic's which he's for.

I compare Obama to Jimmy Carter, but for the young who have no idea how bad Jimmy Carter did in office, comparing Obama to Britney Spears is Genius although I don't know about comparing him to Paris Hilton( She didn't really totally self destruct), Jessica Simpson would have been a better choice, better yet Anna Nicole Smith.

There seems like there is a lot of young people out there that want to make history for the sake of saying they made and witnesses history like there parents did.

The only problem is their parents weren't trying to make history for the sake of making history.

I'm sure that anyone that went threw the trauma of the assassination of JFK, Bobby K and Martin L King would rather have not been apart of that history, ( if it meant we would still have them alive) the same with 9-11.

So to elect a black man just because he's a black man to make history is a slap in the face to everyone who fought for civil rights and every serviceman who fought in a war to keep this country free. John McCain would be on the front of that list and should be calling him out on everything Obama does!

Then all those people that are voting for Obama just because he is black would have an option to change their vote for stronger leadership that doesn't suggest talking with mad men (Iranian's), further it would give all Hilary Clinton supporters a alternative. I'd vote for that ticket! It would also go a long way to swaying NY McCain's way.

Right now I think McCain has the experience and can do the job, and in ten years or twelve years he made be dead, and we won't have him. So, I'm thinking vote him in this time, if is he doesn't get results his first term, Vote Hilary Clinton in next election, if he gets results vote Hilary in in 8 and 12 years if she get things done, and after that vote Obama in the next 2 elections, if he does a Good job his first tern.

Especially after the Niagara Casino has been such a success and employed so many people, pumped so much money into the local government in revenue sharing and made Casino Gambling and shows a reason to visit Niagara Falls NY, instead or in addition to Niagara Falls Canada.

I mean I don't think in the History of WNY anybody, Government or otherwise has spent $330 Million on a project. Ya, I know that Rich stadium cost $110 million and another $110 million to tax payers because the courts ordered the County to pay for the Doomed Stadium originally contracted for in Buffalo, but backed out of. I have been behind this guy or gal or parked and seen the unit go by, and it seems when I see the unit it has almost the same routine every time I see it at around 4 or 5 pm. The unit goes down 62 toward the center of the Village. The cop stops and lets a lady cross the street.( there is usually some a-hole that tries to pull around us vehicles stopped behind him and almost hits and has to slam on the breaks to not hit that person the cop and the traffic going the other way is stopped for, that shows lots of patience too, because if it was me I'd get out of the dam cop car take my gun a shot that idiot). Then the cop proceeds down the street and stops and either talks to someone coming the other way in the village, way in the village center.

I'll give the Hamburg Village Police department 6 donuts

for having there units clearly marked on the deck of the trunk.

because he's paying attention, and even has a routine where he lets the same lady cross the street in front of him most days. He has patience and does his good dead every day.( Good Works)

If your a cop and all you do is hand out traffic tickets and ruin peoples days everyday, pretty soon your going to be cynical.

I think all police departments should require that every cop on duty does as much good things as they do enforcement every day. It sounds mambee pambee, but its psychologically sound. (Our troops in Iraq and else where now do as much good things in a day as killing and that makes a great difference in the out come of their well being, during and after their service. So when this guys, get back and look for jobs as law enforcement, I hope they do get disillusioned being back in the good old USA.) If that's not possible every department should assign a day for each cop as lucky break day instead of handing out traffic tickets that day,( they should act like there giving a ticket, but drop the other shoe and tell everyone they stop, its your lucky break today( even if the guys the biggest a whole you ever meet) and hand out flyers saying this is your lucky break brought to you by your local police department.

No matter how unfair it is, if your a cop everyone will judge you by the company you keep, and the actions they view you doing on duty or off duty, and by the actions of every other cop in your department. The public doesn't know if your that pillar of integrity of un breaking stone, they know what they think they see.
